This benefit auction closes TODAY. The “ask a medievalist” consult I donated — which went for >$200 for @romancingthevote.com — is hovering just under $70! Did you miss your chance for RTV? Come bid on an hour of my time now and help support @celestepewter.bsky.social !!

I know you're (mostly) joking, but the issue is they have the subscriber list of people that our new website won't have. Also, people are emailing childrensbooks@publishersweekly.com to express their disappointment. Reports are that they are relaying all feedback to decision makers, so consider it.

Josh Funk @joshfunkbooks.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

that's a great point. i've done that, too. People are emailing childrensbooks@publishersweekly.com to express their disappointment. Reports are that they are relaying all feedback to decision makers, so consider sending a quick email.

Josh Funk @joshfunkbooks.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

no, you just have to click a link and they only show some of the headshots (this week includes the headshots of an alleged unapologetic #metoo predator! so double points for making me feel good, @publisherswkly.bsky.social!)

Why, PW Children's Bookshelf? Without the book announcements, more than half the email was advertisements.
