Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Wrote a few words about last weekends excellent Wilderness Festival festivalsandgigs.com/reviews/wild...festivalsandgigs.comWilderness 2026Wilderness returns with high-end indulgence, and a question about who it's really for. 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 23/07/2026I saw Rebecca Frecknall's take on the Sarah Kane classic, Cleansed, at the Almeida Theatre last night and ohhhhhh boy it was intense. Go see it if you can (trigger warning: everything triggering imaginable) 010
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 09/07/2026What I will say is I do feel bad for the fella doing said drilling outside in this heat 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 09/07/2026We're beginning six months of cladding remediation works at my flat and let me tell you the sound of a drill and banging plus the heatwave make for.......interesting remote working conditions 100
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 08/07/2026This really was the perfect Sunday afternoon in London 👇 festivalsandgigs.com/reviews/bst-...festivalsandgigs.comBST Hyde Park 2026: Duran DuranIf there was an experiment for how to create the perfect conditions for a day festival, then Hyde Park was the petri dish. 150
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 13/06/2026Aaaand we go again. Serious time last week in Barcelona for Primavera Sound. But today I’ll be hopping between bars in Walthamstow for Another Thought. Excited for a two step to some dance and electronic 😌☝️ 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 27/05/2026Fab write up from this weekends Gala. Easily one of the best curated and organised festivals for London's electronic and dance heads. Keen to do all three days next year. 👇 festivalsandgigs.com/reviews/gala...festivalsandgigs.comGala 2026 · Festival ReviewProudly independent, GALA let the lineup, stages and systems speak for themselves. 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 27/05/2026Tiny desk of the year just dropped. Annahstasia was behind one of my favourite records of 2025 and I am HYPED beyond belief to see her next week www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUhW...youtube.comAnnahstasia: Tiny Desk ConcertYouTube video by NPR Music 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 22/05/2026First day festival of the summer tomorrow. Will try my best to drink lots of WATER and not BURN. See you tomorrow, Gala 🫡 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 19/05/2026Even down here in Millwall territory South East London there's horns beeping everywhere for Arsenal 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 16/05/2026The mind boggles at how some people are attacking Caroline Lucas for running an "irrelevant" Green Party. One set of strong local elections and it goes to people's heads. Taking a party from literal obscurity to winning your first ever Parliamentary seat was a monumental achievement at the time. 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 15/05/2026Off to collect my bib for the Hackney Half marathon this Sunday 🙂↕️ 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 15/05/2026I'm really suprirsed so many jumped to the conclusion that this is Wes backing Andy for leadership lol 010
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 14/05/2026Have great sympathy with Zack around his personal safety and the intrusion of the press, but I simply cannot countenance the idea that a party leader just...did not vote in the election? www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...thetimes.comZack Polanski admits he did not vote in local electionsGreen Party leader had previously indicated through a spokesman that he had cast a postal vote in Hackney 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 14/05/2026So you're saying Wes has resigned but is not running (yet) in the hope of a long contest so Andy has to identify a seat, fight a by election and jump the NEC hurdles which might also trigger Keir to block said plans so he can take on Wes in a short contest and....win? Right....RIGHT? 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 14/05/2026The radio silence from the Wes camp surely not a good sign for him? 100
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Cannot wait for the national humilitation of Wes Streeting tomorrow. Totally blown it, hasn't he? 010
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Can’t believe next weekend is Gala Festival and three weeks today I fly to Barcelona for Primavera. Festival season is BACK baby 🪩 💃 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Unfortunately the vibes of an Al Carns leadership run are off so cannot be allowed to happen as I personally keep reading Al as A.I. 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Brown and Harman? Jog on. Finally they've called back a real heavyweight...that's right...*checks notes*....Chuka Umunna??? 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Keir going down the "come and have a go if you're think you're hard enough" route then. Knows soft left cannot force him to set out a timetable which means.....the ball is firmly in Streeting's court? 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Mad that the very weird "Male political haircuts" account is still going over on twitter... 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Did Cathy Newman just jump up and scream "YES!!!" in the background of sky news just then ffs 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Genuinely embarrassing. All that noise over the weekend which I couldn't help but admire is now just asking MPs to privately tell her whether they want Keir gone or not??? Aren't you all just discussing that anyway lol 000
Reposted by JoshJordan @jordanpfot.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Starmer saying the Tories changing leaders ‘cost this country a huge amount’. No! Replacing Truss saved us a huge amount! 15814
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Unless he knows something we all don't and is in a much stronger position than we realise? 000
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Maybe I am naive but if you are were stuffed as Keir is would you not just have gone absolutely all in with this speech? Throw in some major policy commitments at the very least? Instead he's doubled down and just reaffirmed existing policies? It's like he wants to go down. 110
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Honestly he'd have a better chance of survival if he just meep meep'd his way through the speech 010
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026In Haringey if just a couple of hundred Green/LD splits went full LD it could've made the difference between 8 and 12 seats. The idea nothing could've been done about that is....nonsense. 050
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026I still romanticise a breakfast cig in my head. I don’t really smoke anymore and have been quite good since stopping but that little cigarette and a coffee was definitely my favourite 110
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026It's a Sky News kinda day, I fear. Idk why but political crises don't hit the same on the BBC anymore. 010
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 11/05/2026I think its evident that the only way forward for Keir Starmer is for him to make a clear commitment on speedy boarding for veterans to save his leadership. 010
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 10/05/2026Angela Rayner statement shortly? Oh she best be cooking up something juicy. Give us some Sunday evening drama, Ange x 010
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 10/05/2026Thursday feels like the Greens had their 2017 Labour moment and probably also means their peak for the time being. No doubt more gains to come in future locals but hard to see how the support expands from here 210
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 10/05/2026Totally fair point! Would maybe argue either of them would be an upgrade 👀 100
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 09/05/2026Idk, it certainly feels like an earthquake here. We've just gone from zero councillors in my borough of Lewisham to 40/54 Greens. Numerous paper candidates picked up seats in Haringey and seems to be many other examples across the city. My ward was 75% Lab last time and now 3/3 Green 💀 010
Josh @joshdxn.bsky.social · 09/05/2026Also despite spending most of my political life campaigning against Catherine West when I lived in her patch this intervention from her is so funny and I absolutely respect it. Get me abord the West 4 PM train x 030
