For more than 160 uninterrupted years, federal law has prohibited troops wherever an election is held. The Insurrection Act’s grant of authority to the president does not supersede Section 592’s prohibition on armed people at the polls, writes @lorenvoss.bsky.social and @nkorpett.bsky.social.

Climate change is as straightforward as it gets: Democrats vote to address it and Republicans vote not to. There's a weird tic among the pundit class where they think saying "it's more complicated than that" is the intelligent stance on everything but sometimes it's not complicated!

"Where are the drugs coming from?" Maybe the fact that NY state law all but guarantees a smooth path for officers to pick up a second shift as drug dealers? www.thecityreporter.nyc/2026/09/28/n...
Prison reform advocates are calling on the state to reconsider the mail restrictions, arguing that they have failed to stop drugs from reaching incarcerated people while imposing unnecessary limits on their ability to communicate with family and friends.

They note that all visitors are required to walk through body scanners in each of the state’s 41 facilities while officers can simply decide if they want to be screened. (State law prevents the department from forcing correction officers to go through body scanners; they can refuse “for medical or other reasons” and opt for alternative methods of screening.)

“Make that make sense,” said Michelle Bonet, who founded the advocacy group NYS DOCCS Federal Oversight to help incarcerated people and their families.

This is true. In 2016, I got into an argument with a gay man on a menswear forum. I've since made it my mission to make every man dress gay, thereby destroying his ability to tell who is actually gay and, ultimately, his chances of finding love. I built my social media following to achieve that goal
Someone on Twitter writes to me: "People should follow your advise if they want to look gay."

That is a baby with a rash. They swabbed it, ran a PCR test that was never designed to diagnose anything, amplified fragments until they got a signal, and called it measles. They could have called it fifth disease, roseola, erythema, or any of the dozen interchangeable labels they rotate depending on which one is politically useful that week. What you are actually looking at is a detox event. That baby is expressing the toxic load its mother accumulated over decades of processed food, seed oils, and injections, passed directly through the blood supply in the womb. The rash is the body doing its job. You can vaccinate every baby in Pennsylvania and this will not stop, because the rash is not caused by a lack of vaccination. It is caused by a toxic mother producing a baby that needs to clean house on arrival. You will chase this forever and never catch it because you are treating a label with a product while ignoring the cause.
