📚💙 I asked google if my book Can't Leave Penny was likely stolen by Chatgpt and Anthropic, and can I receive compensation from the lawsuit settlement. Very likely, yes. No, the cut-off date was months ago, I should have applied to be included. 🤬

I'm burnt out, but it was for a good cause. As Juliana would say, Make it a good day to have a great day!

I think the plan is to break up our navy. Which is not just a service branch. Sea power is still a thing. And if we vote in good leadership, we will need that branch to help our allies. I know he is "burning it all down" on purpose. That is what he has been doing with his cabinet picks. 🟠🐷=💩

Did your characters upend your plan for your story? 📚💙 My debut was going to have a McGuffin. I thought it'd be clever. But my characters were not letting me have that ending. They literally opened it and messed up my vague ending. I do love (& respect deeply) them for that.

Watching ads on tv, Ohio has two toxic races, governor and senate, and in the super-PAC ads, they are trying a new dog whistle word. Immigrants. Not undocumented not illegal not alien, but they're rolling out hard hate toward all immigrants now. I hope it bites them.

On the upside, the County Board of Elections asked for my help as a poll worker. In a county that is 70% for 🟠🐷 3 cycles solid, surprise, - they need registered Dems to help keep things balanced. It pays, some, thing. But it feels right. Never one to abide bullsheedoobie, it feels proper now. 🧞

$5.29 for premium local (in Ohio) is hard for this disabled yokel. The Civic manual doth direct me to "higher than 91 octane." That was three gas stations, the highest was a dime higher at $5.39 I know it is higher most everywhere, still hurts real plain-like. 🟠🐷 🫷🏼go away 🟠🐷

Let's say we employ hundreds of drones in the sky and each one has a ceiling fan. I think that'd be nice. Circulate that cool air at 60,000 ft down here at sea level to cool those 100 degree days. The blades on the fans could be clear, so as not to block out our sun. I'm writing my senator. ☕️☕️🍮🍮💚💜

Those threats from scientists telling us to stay away from Black Holes, they don't scare me. Oooh, I'm going to be spaghettified? It's scary business! But when you are the precious sort, you know, like me, it's not so much about being spaghettified, since I'd surely be getting Angel Haired.

Mudic! I caught two fun bands this weekend for free. Lätter is a local band that delivered a scorching War Pigs, and Stranger, who delivered a fantastic Roll With the Changes! Both bands played top ten hits, three different Loverboy songs, many songs I'd never enjoy, but I look at the gold! 🎶

I had tears in my eyes watching AOC but then struggled with the moderates attacking her and the extremist right "saying who she is" when we just heard and communism was not ever part of her platform. Even Donna Brazile defended AOC against the liars the 🟠🐷 pays to lie.

Funny story I have played with garage band some. I figured the app was getting fun, so while visiting two friends, I played my latest track. It was all "smart" versions of the "instruments". As the song played, Hud said, "Your call is very important to us." I died laughing. He was 100% right. 😂😂

Woah! Sold two and loving it! No sales in months and published 29 months ago. On occasion the push for help to promote, maybe even edit, still gone undone. Need to start looking at billboards, too, seen some "RENT ME" boards today. 🩷💜💙🤎🖤🩶🩵💚💛 alt text too

This is my Amazon kdp page showing two bits.

On top is a line graph. It has two lines that reach one, but, not two. Showing two total sold for July. One a few days earlier than the second.

The second shows my modest setting for royalties. I used the kdp tool to find the lowest royalty and did the same on paperback as hard cover.

Then I locked those rates in. The service (KDP) does set a minimum price range, which, someone orders and my file is sent to a printer within the network of printers in the kdp umbrella.

I've received them from Seattle-area and a printer in Illinois. My orders have all arrived in the font and design as I uploaded. They are all beautiful, too, from the perspective of a particular author.

It took me six months to compose the properly aligned, well-margined and legible font. KDP worked with me, not forcing me to republish after my initial February 2024 date. Ha, they even worked with me on the date, I tried to drop it in December but clearly, I bumped it back to January then February.

Anyway, having not promoted my book, this sale is really amazing!
