I think the plan is to break up our navy. Which is not just a service branch. Sea power is still a thing. And if we vote in good leadership, we will need that branch to help our allies. I know he is "burning it all down" on purpose. That is what he has been doing with his cabinet picks. 🟠🐷=💩

Val-Pak is a company product that eats up your advertising budget in smaller bites than Super Bowl tv ads.

Years ago, a fun Cajun joint named LeDoux's spent money for their name to be included in these Val-Pak mailer ads.

I walked around the corner with a sheet tray of dinner rolls and the boss, Ledoux, said, smile, Joe!

I smiled and a camera flashed. Yes, my mug, with me holding hot rolls, was included in a Val-Pak ad coupon.

Every Thursday they arrive via United States Post Office. I seldom hold any of the coupons, but when I keep some of them, they are Dairy Queen $3.00 off a DG ice cream cake, and sometimes I keep a Stanley Steemer coupon because I dream about having the rugs shampooed, but I never used a Stanley Steemer coupon. Maybe half the Dairy Queen coupons get used, because, Ice Cream Cake!

Did your characters upend your plan for your story? 📚💙 My debut was going to have a McGuffin. I thought it'd be clever. But my characters were not letting me have that ending. They literally opened it and messed up my vague ending. I do love (& respect deeply) them for that.

Watching ads on tv, Ohio has two toxic races, governor and senate, and in the super-PAC ads, they are trying a new dog whistle word. Immigrants. Not undocumented not illegal not alien, but they're rolling out hard hate toward all immigrants now. I hope it bites them.

On the upside, the County Board of Elections asked for my help as a poll worker. In a county that is 70% for 🟠🐷 3 cycles solid, surprise, - they need registered Dems to help keep things balanced. It pays, some, thing. But it feels right. Never one to abide bullsheedoobie, it feels proper now. 🧞

$5.29 for premium local (in Ohio) is hard for this disabled yokel. The Civic manual doth direct me to "higher than 91 octane." That was three gas stations, the highest was a dime higher at $5.39 I know it is higher most everywhere, still hurts real plain-like. 🟠🐷 🫷🏼go away 🟠🐷

Mudic! I caught two fun bands this weekend for free. Lätter is a local band that delivered a scorching War Pigs, and Stranger, who delivered a fantastic Roll With the Changes! Both bands played top ten hits, three different Loverboy songs, many songs I'd never enjoy, but I look at the gold! 🎶

We checked the Camaro, 1975-1976 per a google image copy search. I asked google then, what kind of animal is a Camaro? It said the word was made up by marketing because they thought it sounded cool. 😂 When pressed by the media, one guy said, "The little furious kind of animal that eats mustangs."
