I think their real priority is to be superior -- masculine is just a synonym for that. Some with that goal might strive to actually make themselves seem better than others, but I think they've gone with trying to hold everyone else back so they come out ahead by default.

Day 12 of @adorkastock.com 's #DrawEverythingJune2025. The hardest was drawing the axe the model held in the correct perspective. When all the erasing and re-drawing destroyed the paper, I gave up and drew a hammer.

The charts of lead levels correlate so spectacularly to the rise and fall of violent crime levels, offset by the time to reach adulthood, that I actually had to go look up numbers because a real graph shouldn’t be that pretty.

A very nice chart from Mother Jones showing gas lead in tons per 1000 people, against violent crimes per 100,000 people twenty three years later.
