I love that you found that! I got this one around 25 years ago at a flea market in Sedan, KS. I've seen other cat-handle creamers, but never with the iridescent glaze.

A 4" long garden spider has made her web on the outside wall of our carport. I am deathly afraid of spiders. I call her Mathilda, Queen of the Nopes, and I give her a very wide berth.

I bought this prayer candle several years ago to cheer myself up on a crappy day. I lit it for the first time today. I've had a giant crush on Tim Curry since the 70s. I'm sad he's gone, but grateful we all have so much of his outstanding work to watch whenever we need to.

I have never interacted with this account other than to block it. (Bluesky allows blocked accounts to harass users by adding them to custom feeds.) This is the primary reason I stopped using my real name on here. Men like this just aren't happy unless they can victimize others.

I am not a fan of summertime or hot weather, but I do love our little garden corners! I bought this house 35 years ago. I could afford it because the yard was a junky mess. It took us years to clean it up, but it was worth the effort. #bloomscrolling

The Gooseneck Loosestrife is going crazy! I bought three half-dead, tiny pots of it about 35 years ago. I think they like this spot. It's partially shaded and has terrible soil, but they're obviously not picky.

Looking past the Gooseneck Loosestrife to the Rose of Sharon. We have both white and pink. Behind these, they act as a hedge between our yard and the neighbors, running for about 50 feet along the left side. The bees love the blossoms!

Absolem turns one year old today. We think. He came into our yard last Aug, a tiny, starving kitten. We caught him, fed him up, and took him to the vet. She guessed his age and we counted backwards to this date. He is an absolute joy and we love him madly. Happy Birthday Solly! #catsky #caturday

My front yard, facing west. Apologies for the through-the-window shot, but I'm not going out there. It's -2°. I was charmed by the tracks of the squirrel going left to right, with the detour up the tree. We measured the snowfall at 10".

I made a giant afghan this past fall as a housewarming gift for my brother and sister in law. Bulky yarn and moss stitch. Very therapeutic for me and a big hit with them. I had three kitteh helpers.
