Figuring the exact vibe for the game's audio was relatively quick. Since the earlier prototypes had these very tight spaces between the walls and short draw distance, I opted to have the background ambience change quickly to help reflect your progress since looking down didn't offer much info.

I realized that I haven't shared some updates to the renderer for my Playdate prototype. Here's the masked texture support so I can have windows and railings. Also now I can add hidden doors. The other Spacedock related thing on yesterdays video is the release of some wallpapers of our space battleship to Patreon, though this one below is free! The amazing @jonka.bsky.social did the ship art based on my design.
