i think, at a minimum, there needs to be artists on that team who understand the look of classic and warcraft 3. This is something turtle wow did so masterfully, the new art assets made for that project emulated that era damn near perfect.

classic+ for WoW looks... interesting- there's a lot that looks great, the new zones, new race/class combos. Being able to be an alliance shaman is great though some aesthetic shit weirds me out. Those new elves, wtf is that? The vibe just isn't very 'vanilla', but that could be the trailer.

i do think saria looks really good and cute, she has the design oddities of link but applied with more subtlety and grace. I just think the long sleeves and turtleneck fit her character really well since she's this almost matriarchal character, while still being a child. I wish link had restraint

i think the difference and juxtaposition between malon and link here in terms of texture density, adherance to the original design, and just the amount of SHIT going on with links design points to the issue. Malon looks like she exists within her world, link feels like he found dark souls 3 clothes
