I watched Rafiki yesterday and I enjoyed it so much!! The colors were gorgeous and the story was beautiful and packed a punch.

Currently scrolling my phone in a library full of books... if this doesn't say anything about my mental state 😵‍💫

I haven't read anything in weeks and now I'm reading the Manner of Death manga - the manga artist didn't know about the school uniforms in Thailand. Other than that it is a bit different from the series, but then again it is based on the book!

I will entirely skipping @eurovision.tv again for its unacceptable shameless political choice to platform a violent, terrorist, genocidal Israel. You should too, even if Eurovision is "fun" or "massive for engagement" - the EBU is choosing to ignore genocide. Don't be like or support the EBU.

My biases truly went xu minghao (svt) > xiao dejun (wayv) > han hyeongjun (xdz)

I mean, I currently am a huge xdinary heroes fan (watch their stuff w an adblocker and try not to listen to their music too much), and it really makes me want to try and learn the guitar (I have short fingers and small hands... ukulele might be easier)

It's been a while since I stopped being a seventeen stan (for hybe's zionist reasons and generally not liking their music anymore) but seeing Minghao in Chuang... he was my 17 bias and it truly stung a bit.

I bought a book from 1992 yesterday at a second hand store that has crossover fanfic of literary characters from the 1800s. Can't wait to read it!

So... uh, might come back here for a bit. Kpop and bl fandom is still mostly on the bird app but I'd rather have a space where I can write my thoughts without Musk looking over my shoulder...

The first episode of Thamepo the series was actually quite good!! The production value felt way higher than the general standard for gmmtv bls. It reminded me of the trainee, in a way. I will wait and see (but I am also not afraid to drop it if it isn't to my liking).

Haven't been able to read in several days 😭 work took all my energy and today was the last class before exam season 😭

Just finished reading this German non-fiction graphic novel about gender (Gender-Kram). It made me question the way I basically only interrogate my own queerness through using the English language.

Also I am reading a (semi)autobiographical novel and I find the blurring of memoir and fiction very interesting if sometimes confusing, since I do follow this person on social media. Having access to an aspect of a stranger's personality sure is complex

I just replied to every message I still had unread somewhere. It feels weird, like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders...

Tried reading a Moomin-book in Swedish today and I realized I read so much slower in Swedish 😭 10 pages took me ages. Whoever thinks children's books in a foreign language are easier, think again...

I am reading this lesbian ya uni romance/slice of life set in my small-ish European hometown. Not in English. Feels weird, feels like someone took my experience and shoved it kind of to the left so it doesn't quite fit. And get, it feels visceral

Hm, the whole being disappointed about gmmtv producing non stellar shows next year is a bit over the top to me. Like their shows have always been not that great w some exceptions. They are here to make money, mostly, not art :/

I bought the green yuri manga in French... might be regretting that now. Might have to buy it in English anyway 😔

So I was watching the new series by Hwang Da Seul, Let free the curse of taekwondo, and tell me why the gagaoolala translator decided to translate won to baht in English?
