Just watched the news... Trickle-down economics is just 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎 in disguise. The top gets full, the bottom gets crumbs—if that. If you’ve seen the movie, you know. If not, go watch it and let’s talk. Brutal, honest, and way too real. #ThePlatform #TrickleDownEconomics #FoodForThought

🧶 Hot Take: Michael’s is having a sale to make room for all of JoAnn’s leftovers. Circle of craft store life. 😅 But in all seriousness, I hope everyone has fun shopping and can still find their favorite yarns and craft supplies elsewhere!

🧶 It's Wednesday, my dudes. What's on your hooks and needles? I'm trying to figure out the color pattern for this 12-pointed star blanket I started at the beginning of February. Thinking about mixing the brown and black-what do you think? #wip #wipwednesday #crochet #knitting

THE DEAL: I shop for yarn in peace, and he gets the big yarn reveal when I get home! Jo-Ann’s is closing, so of course, I had to make a 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 $300 yarn purchase. Who else has a partner who humors their fiber obsession? 🧶 #yarnhaul #yarnaddict #fiberobsession #yarnlife #knitting #crocheting

🧶 Better late than never! Finally posting my finished crochet pillow cover completed back in January (oops). My couch is cozier, and my hands are already busy on the next project! ✨ And yes, I know I still need to post the sweater... I’ll get around to it... eventually 😏

🧶 The word crochet is derived from the French word "croche", which in turn comes from the Gaelic word, "croc" meaning hook. I also looked up knit and found out that it is derived from an Old English word "cynttan" which means to tie or knot. So if we do both, does that mean we're knotty hookers? 😏

🧶 Reflection: For a long time, I never wanted to create items for the people I loved bc I was hurt from it a long time ago: I had knitted a scarf and beanie for an ex of mine. It took me two weeks to make it and it only took him two days to give it away to his mom because she liked it. 1/

Crocheting this cardigan has been a rollercoaster of emotions! From sheer joy to wanting to throw it across the room 😤. The finish line is in sight, but man, this project has taught me more than any self-help book. Can't wait to share the final product! Wish me luck, crochet gods! 🧶

Unfinished granny square cardigan in shades of blue, white, and light green. Everything is stitched together to form a cropped cardigan with super puffy sleeves with the ribbing of the neckline 1/4 finished.

I've added borders to the squares using VERY similar colorways, both from Lion Brand's Mandala yarn. As you can see, each square inside is the same shade and the borders of each are all different. It's very time consuming. 😅 🧶 #grannysquare #crochetcardigan #grannysquareyoke

#wipwednesdays Decided to start a project on Monday to make a gift for my manager who's moving back home for his family. The going away party is tomorrow and I need to make two of these before tomorrow night. I already had to frog and redo this one that's on the machine. 🧶 😭 Wish me luck

For all my knitters out there: I usually throw my stitches (English), but every time I switch to picking (Continental), I have trouble wrapping the yarn when I'm purling. I tend to wrap the yarn around my pinky and first finger, but it slips. How do you hold your yarn to make purling easier? 🧶
