My dad became a member of Antifa in 1944. My uncle became a member of Antifa in 1943. My aunt became a member of Antifa in 1942. Another uncle became a member in 1940. They joined the British armed forces. The USA joined the antifa movement in 1941. Just saying...

Tonight, I voted against plans to cut £2 billion in support for hundreds of thousands of sick and disabled people. Stripping £3,000 a year from people who are too ill to work and already on low incomes will only deepen the poverty many face.

I voted against the welfare bill again tonight, as sadly it will still result in: ❌ £2bn worth of cuts to disabled people's incomes ❌ 50,000 people being pushed into poverty ❌ 750,000 low-income sick and disabled people losing £3k per year

Is the reason we can't afford to pay doctors and nurses the same wages they earned in 2008 in real terms Because £23 billion in contracts goes to private firms providing services to the NHS, generating for them over £3 billion in profit every year? Profits more important than NHS staff pay?

I have just burst out laughing " Glastonbury is fast becoming a very political music festival!" Who writes this sh1t? Been political since its inception. It was opened by Bruce Kent, chair of CND in the 80s! Billy Bragg runs the leftfield stage. Greenpeace are field there. Politics is everywhere!
