Happy 80th birthday today to #DarylHall. Spinning his wonderful first solo record from 1980 (recorded in 1977). It was produced by the inimitable Robert Fripp—who also played guitar. #johnsvinyl #nowplaying

I’m a life-long fan of Steve Martin @stevemartin35.bsky.social So I’m thrilled to finally see him live in person tonight.

Opening band for #SexPistols was #Starcrawler. Wow! They were so good. They played their unique take on punk/glam rock that really worked. Lead singer Arrow de Wilde was especially great—and brave to do a crowd surf.

Forgot to post about the #SexPistols gig we saw last week. It was fantastic and greatly exceeded our expectations. The original members—Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Glen Matlock—were all terrific. And their singer, Frank Carter, was great! A short but very fun set that included a female only mosh pit.

I saw this posted here a few days ago. So when I saw it yesterday, I snagged it. I adore the #Eurythmics 1984 soundtrack album and I remain suprised at its lack of sucesss. This single version of Sexcrime is killer. #johnsvinyl #nowplaying

Back in business with backup amp installed! I picked up this classic record yesterday for Nick @nportnell.bsky.social When I saw it, I remembered that he had been looking for a nice copy. It will be en route to him shortly, via SCV @indashadoz.bsky.social #nowplaying

Oh I do. Downstairs amp moved upstairs. Et voila!

My amplifier is broken. 🥲 Left channel is completely out. I’ll have to wait a few days to get it fixed. In the meantime, I’ll have to use one of my backups.
