It is arrogant to claim that the match is international v Americans when the PGA tour dictates the rules or who an international can include. They don't advertise it as the best PGA tour Americans v PGA Tour internationals.

One thing we won’t see today….proper foursomes play where one player walks back to the tee and his partner walks forward to await the arrival of the ball. In other words, there should be situations where the driver doesn’t stop walking until he reaches the green. Much quicker and more efficient….

One of the hardest things in golf….partnering in foursomes with someone who is playing markedly better than you are. Lot of pressure on an obvious second-fiddle.

they've created a match that attempts to mirror the Ryder Cup but with international players, but then ban the international team from picking players that aren't on the PGA Tour! This isn't just about LIV as Casey Jarvis wasn't eligible this year or Ryan Fox last time as they weren't PGA brand.
