I love John le Carré’s work. You have to pay attention and that attention is rewarded. It’s slow, unhurried, but tense - serious in a way that is often at odds with popular literature. Given how much I love his work it’s taken me a long time to get to this- can’t wait.

One of my favorite books when I was growing up and reading Lord of the Rings for the first time. The look of the films are so ubiquitous and established now that it’s sometimes hard to remember that there were are are other ways of visualizing Middle Earth.
