John Earls @johnearls.bsky.social · 07/10/2026The personal and political mixing of economics and culture given powerful and moving theatrical effect in James Graham’s new play about John Maynard Keynes, ‘The Standard of Living’ at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket. John Earls @johnearls.bsky.social · 03/10/2026English National Ballet’s energetic ‘Rhythm Riot’ at Sadlers Wells is a triple bill full of variety and propulsive beats. The Balanchine ‘Symphony in Three Movements’ opener was just fabulous as were the orchestra under Maria Seletskaja playing Stravinsky’s score. 000

John Earls @johnearls.bsky.social · 05/09/2026The Agony and the Ecstasy continues. Today it’s the former. Wealdstone somehow manage to lose 1-4 to a team who played most of the game with 10 men and when it was 1-1 at H/T. That’s beyond poor. Thoughts with fans in home end who were taken ill & hospitalised and families. UTS! 010
John Earls @johnearls.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Hoping Wealdstone can repeat the form of last Monday and bag another 3 points today against visitors Kidderminster (birthplace of Jowe Head of Swell Maps and the Television Personalities). See you at Grosvenor Vale for @wealdstonefc.bsky.social v Kidderminster Harriers. 3pm KO. UTS! 010
