A double page spread from 'Woodwork. Two pictures taken on a very frosty day in a messy wood near Brighton. Both pictures are full of lovely little fine details of branches covered in hard frost. The colours are very muted and it feels cold.

The cover of my book 'Fieldwork'. Two fields with chalky soil and the patchiest of new crop beginning to show through. Orderly plough lines roll down the larger field. At the top of the smaller field is a rather pleasing little collection of trees on the skyline.

Two pages from my book 'Fieldwork'. Both images are very simple, just a thin green line of grass across an expanse of empty chalky field. One picture has a small figure of a person walking from left to right along the line, the other has a group of crows nearby, probably to no good.
