The nice thing is the agent can then just use grep instead of forcing it to manipulate opaque UUIDs.

Actually with a third option besides the 1) editor and 2) markdown lens: 3) JSON API.

So for Svedit I’m exploring a markdown lens/ bidirectional editable representation on top of the graph model. Humans edit JSON, but agents edit via the markdown lens. It also helps agents if e.g. layout variants are actual labels not integers, because then they can better map the prompt

With JSON in SQLite there’s this crazy tooling chain/ query planning involved: database → table → row → column → JSON document → JSON path → SQL expression → transaction → write → And then that result needs to be verified with another tool call. With markdown there‘s no tooling, just output.

What’s your experience with agents editing content in JSON vs. markdown files vs. JSON in SQLite? I noticed the least amount of errors and tokens used is with markdown. Seems to be a tooling issue: A lightweight API + skill at least bring down the errors. Though speed/ token usage is still worse.

A bit rudimentary, but fine for me: VoiceInk with either local models or ElevenLabs realtime.

your token costs: lower your server costs: lower your bandwidth costs: lower not to mention the fact that you'll ship in half the time and tear out less hair in the process. just use @svelte.dev, people. it's like other frameworks but better

- selectors like :overflows/ :wraps, e.g. to turn from a horizontal list to vertical. - curved text - full control over the design of gaps and empty cells in a grid (the current workaround used divs for gaps & empty cells) - automatic hitbox expansion - anchor positioning to start/end of textline

Nominating myself. I‘m building interfacelineage.com (a project that started from a passion of collecting and disassembling interfaces for 15 years). Got quite some traction and will launch soon. I’m sitting at the intersection of design, engineering, and research.

We have reached a moment where instead of releasing software you simply release the detailed spec for software and tell people to prompt their agent to build it themselves From the README of OpenAI’s new Symphony orchestrator: github.com/openai/symph...
A section of the OpenAI Symphony readme that says “tell your coding agent to build symphony in a programming language of your choice” with a link to a detailed spec

This is our third time out with Local-First Conf! In past years we've thoroughly explored some core topics like sync engines and CRDTs. In 2026, we're broadening into areas like identity, e2ee, malleable software, and open-weight models.

Almost 3 years since editable.website won 2nd place at @sveltesociety.dev SvelteHack. Since then, I’ve been busy turning this from a prototype into something solid. A way to build CMS-free, in-place editable websites using only Svelte. This is v2. 🥳

Also having them drink milk during takeoff / landing is recommend to help the baby with pressure change and prevent damage to the eardrum.

Make sure to reserve a seat with bassinet or get a JetKits Bedbox from Stokke if you anticipate many flights in the next ~8 years. Or Yoyo with car seat/ adapter. Though car seat is too uncomfortable for 3h+ flights. We also got special baby ear plugs to ease the pain with pressure during takeoff.

focusing on this visual "shape of text" also removes /some/ dependency on actual written language and its length, so you design more generically with semantic hierarchy (how big are things compared to other things) and can internationalize more easily

It’s easy, except for subgrid. But something that bothers me regularly: Column or row gaps that don’t collapse when the remainder slots are empty.

Would you say Jazz is well-suited to modeling and operating on data with interconnected structures, such as graphs, where nodes can have multiple relationships and recursive operations (like depth-first search, or hierarchical updates) are necessary?

Masonry layout in pure CSS? The trick is to use grid-auto-rows: 20px on the container, then set each card’s height using grid-row-end: span 𝒳. For 𝒳 we calculate how many ‘rows’ tall a card should be based on the column width and aspect ratio. With tan() we get a unitless value
