Outside of Hamilton, Justice Frederick Myers is being elevated from the Superior Court to the Court of Appeal for Ontario. I've covered many Divisional Court hearings, observed Myers in the courtroom. He is principled, thoughtful, and does not suffer foolery in the courtroom. (3/3)

Now Justice Michael Bordin represented the City during the height of COVID, he joined Gowlings during that time, bringing the case into that firm. Shores was one of the partners who took on the case when Bordin was elevated. Shores is an excellent judicial appointment. (2/3)
