I was really disappointed with T-Mobile on my latest trip to Sweden. Last time I had perfect reception. This time, they wanted me to purchase an upgrade to get reception. Really will be looking at other providers if I need to purchase an upgraded in Europe.

This is the Bohus Fästning (fortress). I have an ancestor who was stationed here and ended up taking care of his brother, Tomas Thorild, until he died.

Can a German genealogist answer this question. Why are church records reported in both the Catholic and Lutheran church? My ancestors were Catholic, but they also appear in Lutheran church records. Thank you in advance.

I don't want to reign on anyone's happiness and I'm happy you enjoy all of the seasons of #Outlander, but season 8 was a disappointment to me. Am I the only one here who felt this way? Maybe when I watch season 8 again and I can semi-binge watch it, I might feel different.

The good news: I have to say that the half time show was 100 times better than the game. The bad news: This was the worst Super Bowl I have ever seen. Neither team should have made it to the game.

Are we sure these are the two best teams in their perspective conferences?

In my honorable opinion, The Last Kingdom is by far the best TV show of all times. The books by Bernard Cornwell were great too.

#genealogy #GermanGenealogy In the 1800s, why were people recorded in both the catholic and lutheran baptism records.

#DNAGenealogy #Genealogy I have finalized my DNA research project on the boyfriend of my grandmother and have identified the father of my half uncle. I used LEEDS, MyHeritage Autocluster, and DNAPainter. I want to write up the results and share with all of the families involved.

My sister Mary and I went in search of our father's boyhood home. My dad showed me back in the 90s. We found it. The biggest question as a result? Did my grandfather build the barn and outbuildings? We then stopped at the cemetery on our way home.

Good morning genealogy family. I am interested in creating and printing large descendancy chart for my family. I have a printer that can print 24X36 or 24x48 charts, but the genealogy programs (Family Tree Maker) don't seem to acknowledge any other printer that a 8.5x11 or 11x17. #genealogy

I share 87.95 cM with my top DNA match on LivingDNA. Not too promising. I recently joined, so maybe it will take some time to process everyone.

I just bought two books from Sweden that have pictures, family groups, and stories from the parishes of our ancestors. I can't wait. I saw these when I lived in Utah at the library. 😁😁

#AspenDental has cancelled a cleaning for the third time this year and four times in the last 8 months because the hygienist decided to take off (one time she was sick and I understand). Can anyone in the Lansing area recommend a new dentist?

I’m enjoying Outlander. It’s a really great series. I would have rated it outstanding if they had eliminated the sex scenes.

Today St. Patrick kicked the Vikings out of Ireland. He told them to go to hell and that is why they settled in Minnesota.

@yourdnaguide.bsky.social Great presentation at #RootsTech on Combine multiple DNA test types. I thought I knew all I needed for being an amateur genealogist. 👏👏👏👏

I’ve been binge watching RootsTech for the last 2 days. I can never binge watch a tv show because I get bored, but I can with this. That was until 9:00 and I had to stop. #NotAtRootstech

@danielloftus.projectinfant.ie I just watched your presentation at RootsTech. Great job. I felt that we were chatting about research instead of just listening to a lecture.

I like these six to ten episode on streaming. They are exceptionally written and bad episodes are minimal or none existent.

If you are looking for a good crime drama from Norway, watch The Lørenskog Disappearance on Netflix. The English dubbing is not too bad.
