I teach a lot about the bible and ancient greek tradition through comparison and one of the things I often tell my students is that one fundamental difference is that the biblical god gets mad at you for sin, but sometimes in Greece you accidentally sit on a bench Dionysius really liked

Wild scenes at 13U baseball last night. Not once, but twice, the catcher's throw back to the pitcher hit the batter's bat and ricocheted away. Thanks to the Shin-Shoo Choo play from the 2015 playoffs, the coaches on both teams knew exactly what was happening. Players were extremely confused. ⚾

at a 13u baseball tournament where my kid, who has had a tough go on the mound, pitched 3 innings of shutout relief, also drove in the winning run and then singled and scored to add insurance in a 7-2 victory. My heartrate may just now be returning to normal.He's fine when he pitches, I'm a wreck⚾
