i think the "find my" alerts do technically work for this but i probably hadn't gone far enough distance wise. i was already on the shuttle to the other terminal when i realised. would've been a lot earlier if it relied on connection rather than GPS distance.

has anyone got Siri AI to successfully open something in their app? if i ask "open persona 5 royal in gametrack" it'll run search, instead of opening. if i have a list on screen and ask "open the 5th game on screen", it'll say "opening metroid prime" and nothing happens #iOSDev #iOS27 #siriAI

had a week long support conversation with a user about the app not launching after they updated to macOS 26.5. after sending them a test build with some updates, they said it launches now but they don't like all the changes! turns out they were talking about a completely different app 🫠

looks like the .automatic topEdgeEffect on iOS 27 is now .hard by default. overriding it to .soft everywhere in your app brings back the iOS 26 appearance. mastodon.social/@Joekw/116716...
