I have a bad habit of tearing hangnails instead of clipping them, often resulting in painful, messy bleeds. I did that badly enough last night that it needed a coat of New-Skin. Today, I peeled a piece of what I thought was fraying New-Skin, but it was another hangnail, which then bled profusely.

I lost well over an hour of filming time today due to sound issues. My first recording session was unusable, and despite half a dozen test takes and no matter what changes I made in Audition, nothing fixed my audio. Then I realized my microphone was backward.

My cat likes shutting off the power strips behind my bed. He's banned from my studio because he climbs the sound curtains and screws with the equipment, but he sometimes sneaks in. Prepping to film today, I couldn't understand why the lights weren't working. The power strip was off. Little shit.

Per MyChart, the amount of liquid they drained from my knee today was 15 ml, or roughly the size of a jelly packet you get with your toast when eating a restaurant breakfast. This surprised me, because at the time, that syringe looked like it contained enough juice to baste four dozen turkeys.
