Just finished up about 6hrs of data on the Seagull Nebula in Monoceros. It’s about 4000 ly from Earth. I used a OSC camera, a RedCat51 & 2 Antlia dual narrowband filters: one capturing Ha & OIII. The other capturing SII & Hb. I then split & recombined the channels in SHO pallet. 🔭 #Astrophotography

Making a batch of Roy’s Hawaiian Martinis. You soak the sliced pineapple in booze and simple syrup for 5 days. Delicious.
A large glass vessel sits on a countertop with a bottle of Sky vodka, a bottle of Smirnoff vanilla vodka and a bottle of Malibu coconut rum beside it. The glass vessel is about a quarter full with sliced pineapple flushing in the boozy concoction. Top down view of slices of pineapple soaking in a boozy concoction. Roy's Hawaian Martini
Ingredients (Serves 6)
1 ripe pineapple
2 cups Skyy vodka
1 cup Malibu coconut rum
1 cup Stoli Vanil
2 oz. simple syrup or babe sugar
Slice pineapple into one-inch pieces, store in a gallon container. In separate container, thoroughly blend Skyy Vodka, Malibu Coconut Rum, Stoli Vanil and simple syrup. Pour over pineapple slices. Let stand at room temperature for five days to infuse mix with Hawalian flavor. To serve, fill martini shaker with ice and 4 oz. of Hawaiian Martini mix. Shake aggressively. Strain into chilled martini glass, and garnish with fresh pineapple wedge.
Kick back, relax and enjoy. Mahalo.
