The wonderful Angela Lansbury left us at 96 this day in 2022. Mother Belfast-born actress Moyna MacGill. Such a brilliant career. Much more than the beloved Jessica Fletcher.

Attempting a book about music in my life from an Irish perspective. Provisionally called Soundtrack (original, eh?). First stop, the 1960s, me from 6 to 15. Personal stuff linked to all kinds of music. Might work.

Just back from a week in Rovinj, Croatia, a beautiful harbour town. Weather perfect. Epic sunsets. Great restaurants. Nice people. Pula airport, small and efficient. 👍

Watched the first (of 2) 70 Up. So emotional witnessing very young dreams and aspirations followed by much older realities. Michael Apted (RIP) developed this valuable idea, and there is so much humanity on display. Reflective, sad and and more than a nerve touched.

I played his father, Joseph Mallard, in a flashback episode of NCIS (Season 13, Ep. 11). I wanted to tell him about the time we met at Roddy McDowell's house in 1965, but he was off that night. They did give me his parking spot, though!
