Not only did I get @chuckwendig.bsky.social to sign my book, I also got him to sign MY book. He was lovely and pleasant and witty and charming. I burdened him with terrible knowledge, but that is not meant for mortals.

Basically this is two book nerd at a bookstore.

Got my 2nd Dan certificate and card from the kukkiwon at Taekwondo tonight. Neat!

I just thought I found a random sex toy box in my house, but it turns out it was one of those loop lasso toys. Which is NOT a sex toy, but it IS packaged like one.

briefly. Perhaps the least enthusiastic handshake I'd ever
received in my life.

“It must be very strange for you to be here after all this time.”
I realized that by all this time she probably meant her entire
life.

“It is. Yes.”

“Just think. If you never left the Church, you'd be in this room
right now.”

“I am in this room right now.” She smirked and turned around with
her tea. The dismissal was better than the handshake.

Okay #writers and #writingcommunity. Here's my thread for e-reader customization. Because we're all book nerds right? I imagine we have done cool shit to our e-readers. Here's mine. It's a boox because I love paperwhite, but I hate Amazon. The screensaver reminds me how to turn it on. I'm old.

If I'm honest, this is my favorite display. When I got my blue belt, the wrong belt came in the order. So, I have this one. And I didn't end up taking my deputy test because it's optional and there wasn't a lot of time.

Hey, martial arts built display.
The belts go white, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, red, black.
All of the belts are a solid color with a black line through the middle, except the blue belt, which is a solid color with a white line through the middle.
There's a gap between the red belt and the black belt where I belt is missing.
