I have to be honest, this is not the way I planned on raising kids. When I grew up I had a huge family and community supporting everyone. Cousins babysat, grandparents took kids on trips. And that is not what I have for my kids. I grieve it regularly and also grieve the lack of support.

There is nothing that prepares you for Parenthood when your children do something scary that their peers may not like and you just have to sit and wait and pray that they have a great day.

Also, because I needed extra whimsy this week, I gifted myself a #sylvanianfamily set. I wanted one ever since I was a little kid. And I decided I wanted to take them for a photo shoot but also needed to go to #Ikea They had these adorable little sets in one of the rooms so I had a photo shoot!

Looking for recommendations of sites or videos that discuss how #videographers handle file management. It has been one of my biggest problems working on projects that stop and start over time. Knowing how to and where to keep files together is a big need. #contentcreators #sylvanianfamily

The best use of that is not so much filling in the monsters and scenarios, but to fill in the seats of players who said they were available and dropped out last minute.

Joe made a great #DrawSteel adventure, for free or pay what you want on itch. He's been working hard on it and I've been happy to listen to him talk about it and I'm psyched to play it, when I forget some of the finer details.

And now, Calamities begins. But I'm curious with two books back to back that mention quarry pond jumps, if that is something @chuckwendig.bsky.social did as a kid or had nearby. It's definitely not a thing in my city, and I would be too scared to do it anyway even in the bravest parts of my youth.

I usually bring a bag with me everywhere. I work on art projects while waiting for food at restaurants or in waiting rooms. I was out running errands and stopped to eat, but I didn't bring my bag. Our favorite waitress saw I didn't have it and ran to get me pencil & paper. She's the best!

There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series

You can’t without supporting Rowling’s transphobic bigotry.

A series of art depicting a cute little baby Nessie. One is a print on an index card in a hole to green gradient. Another is matted in a black frame with a pink to blue gradient proving that the Loch Ness monster supports trans right. The third is a cute sticker that's a more traditional green with lighter spots. They are all looking at you with big adorable wiggly eyes.
