Even the actual rapists have been faced zero actual consequences. The members of Led Zeppelin are still treated as gods and will never see punishment, and Neil Gaiman will probably never face criminal charges.

The majority of people “cancelled” are rich men who actually did something wrong so maybe they lost out on a couple paychecks. They are nothing like the actual victims of the Salem Witch Trials, who were innocent women and girls EXECUTED out of societal bloodlust and paranoia.
