Yes, it will take considerable time and effort to undo the Trump damage and rebuild the credibility of the US (which wasn't that great even before Trump). Let's hope Democrats run a good candidate who knows how to govern, like Pete Buttigieg or Andy Beshear.

Again, gas prices spiked in 2022-23 because Russia invaded Ukraine which caused a major disruption in global supply. Then they came down. Biden didn’t cause it. Gas prices rose in 2026 due solely to the stupidity of Trump who started a war in the Middle East.
