It's a national holiday here, which means it's almost 9 am and I am still in bed.

Which also related to me not being where I wanted to be at this point of the year metaphorically, because, at the end of the day, I am still trying to come to terms with the fact that it was my own decisions and actions which led to my losing my job, crashing my car, etc etc.

There tonight. The same way it was my decision to not go to a Megadeth concert earlier this year, because even when I had a ticket, I didn't think it was responsible of me to spend money that way whilst I was unemployed and falling behind on many payments (student loan for grad school).

And like, I had the funds to go, and honestly I should have gotten my ticket way way sooner. But I DECIDED to sit on it and wait, which led to me also not getting flies, hotel booked, etc etc, you get the idea. But, and this is the key part. it was MY DECISION which ultimately meant me not being..

Like both geographically and metaphorically I am not where I wanted to be today. Geographically, had things gone slightly to plan this year, I'd be in another city, in a concert venue, waiting to see my favourite band play a special Setlist to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

October 10th. It's been two months. Where there is now an empty space used to be a hotel and a very well reputed bakery and pastry. A major block at the heart of the city is closed down due to some demolitions. There are still several buildings that will continue to go down. Open wound.
