Great stuff. Been thinking a lot about this very exact thing in the face of Interstella 5555's new re-release, which itself is plagued with a """restoration""" (aka bad upscale) that awkwardly smooths out all the beauty inherent to the animation of the era.

oh i know this one! if you're on chrome, just go to settings then systems, and turn off graphics accelleration. then reload your browser. i have to do this all the time for cdrama streaming
