That also opens up bargaining opportunities for the future. Does the studio pay them more money to continue using their voice, or do they hire a new child voice actor for the role, giving someone else an opportunity? I more-or-less just countered a worst case scenario with a best case scenario. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That means if they get cast as a young boy on some new animated sitcom, and the show becomes a hit, and they grow up and start taking more teen and adult roles, they can still have this source of income from selling their childhood voice during the brief window of life when they still had it.

If the permission only lasts for the run of the show, and they get compensation for as long as their voice is used, I think I’d be fine with it. Imagine if your child is an actor cast in an animated series and they have a deal like that, and the show ends up being the next Simpsons or SpongeBob.🤷🏻‍♂️💰

My least popular (and most correct) view is that cars should be automatically limited to the local speed limit. Put the pedal to the floor and you still can't go over 25mph in a residential area. (15 in Manhattan btw)
