I’ve been really getting into #DungeonCrawlerCarl by @mattdinniman.bsky.social over the last new weeks, and over the holiday break I’ve been doodling away on this as I listen. The audio book is absolutely incredible! After many recommendations, I’m very glad to be a few books in finally! 📚🎨✍🏼

Wow, my painting “Retreating into the Weave” was awarded the FASO Boldbrush award for August! 😧🎨 I’ve been submitting to Boldbrush since I was quite young, and really never imagined getting top prize.

A couple things, 1) I’m playing with the new procreate brushes and ohhhh wow. They’re very fun!! This is an incredible app already. The fact that it’s a one time payment, and they still want to make the app better all the time is a beautiful thing.

This is one of the silliest things I’ve made in a while but I’ll run with it for the bit… 🤪 Having just done this painting earlier this year “Among Friends” and then seeing the new album cover released today for “The Life of a Show Girl”… this is just what came to mind.

Another collaboration with Gallery Nucleus that I’m so proud to be a part of! I’ve always loved the Last of Us series, especially Ellie’s character, and getting to depict her to celebrate the studios 40th anniversary is such an honor.

With all the world's bullshit, it is still lovely to have a day where I visit @djangowexler.bsky.social to sign books and chat, text with Matt Dinniman about the state of publishing, plan a new publishing company, and get a sketch from @jmaddalina.bsky.social for a secret project. Fun still exists.
