me personally? You know when constant creators make a token or a sticker or something for events? I asked Ralph to paint me a triptych, telling me the before, during, and immediately after story of the creation of vampires on Innistrad. That’s my favorite art of his. 2/2

The whole set of three or tryptych painting on a wall

A fantasy painting of peasants, begging their Lord in a Gothic castle for food. In the background, you can see clearly a famine is ravaging the land and buried people are stacking up in grave plots.

A renaissance grouping of people is exsanguinating an angel

Also my first foray into reveal videos. It took about 10 attempts and a big scratch on my foot because while my cat Bucha is happy with (trying to eat) the proof and the little clipboard separately, he's horrified the moment I put one onto the other. He's built different.

Oil painting of a young woman with deeply tanned skin and black hair reflecting the surround light, Mercy Thompson, looking up towards the sky with a large black and silver werewolf, Adam Hauptman, behind her looking the other direction and guarding her back. The moon is high in the sky while the sunset turns the sky deep blue and warm orange.

And it's done! This is the first tarot painting I've ever done, although the idea had always had some allure. So it's super cool to be a part of an AP tarot deck! This was done in acrylics, and I'll ramble about the symbolism in the Alt text.

It's a photo of a small painting, done on the back of an artist proof of the "Archdruid's Charm" card for Magic: The Gathering. So the size of a regular playing card.

Went with the magician because it's a great fit for the card, and also I had a sketch of this figure sitting in my notebook from when I was trying to visualize what a druid (or an archdruid) might look like.

The crown is shaped like a section of the charm in question - which is to say a visual melding of antlers and tree branches cradling 3 green gemstones in the middle in a double helix pattern of little nests. The fangs from the charm also made the transition, hanging from the sides of the headdress as well as from the druid's veil.

The face can be seen either as covered by a mask or not, I left it ambiguous on purpose, but the shapes are meant to evoke the barn owl because of the obvious association with wisdom. The owlishness also made its way into the figure's hands, which have four fingers and big claws just like the owl, and one is pointing up and the other down in the 'as above, so below' gesture commonly associated with the Magician.

The Magician may also be linked to lilies and roses. The lilies make a subtle appearance in the shape of the little shoulder ornaments. The roses are more obvious, framing the whole thing, and changing colors to reflect the elements of the four suits - purple air for the sword, blue water for the chalice, red fire for the wand and orange earth for the pentacle.

The infinity symbol sits at top middle, while the name and number of the card is at the bottom.
