send hugvibes to thousands of folks with flooded homes today in Bangkok took all day and wading through flood waters but i managed to get out and to the airport... where thousands are getting off planes to find a 6hr taxi wait, or take a train to a flooded station, so are just camping here.

using AI and the web feels like magic, a breath of fresh air. not because AI is magical but because despite AI's flaws, it's a tool for *synthesis*. browsers and search engines gave us navigation and focused discovery but stopped at "here's a million search results and a tab factory, good luck"

A lot of Peek is window manager-y fun things, but with web pages, eg this design detail: - global hotkey -> cmd bar, doesn't take app focus - opening a URL there *does* take app focus, but *only* for the new/matching window, doesn't bring the rest along You get the page, but it *feels* in-place.
