Recently replaced my slightly difficult to wield lame with a grignette and changed the cut i make and it has made the world of difference. Even successfully tweaked the starter amount given this week's higher temps. Feel like I finally figured it out.

Ok I might actually have gotten a proper handle on my sourdough? Ive had some belters over the last few years but sporadically I'd have a disappointing flat dense loaf. Tinkered with just about everything, kept a spreadsheet to keep track of what I'd experiment with and how.

I'll always regret "losing" my Kirby covers but these treatments of the Discworld novels are so pretty. Very happy to be filling my shelves with them.

A hardback copy of Lords and Ladies by Terry Pratchett, the book is a white-grey backdrop with somewhat minimalist art portraying three witches flying their brooms under a gold foil crescent moon over a stone circle containing another figure surrounded by a swell of gold foil energy. It is very very pretty.

I remembered far less of it than I thought, but it really does run the gamut of things I think Discworld/Pratchett does so brilliantly. Cutting wit, mind-bending commentary on our society, emotional depth, it's just a glorious insight into a beautiful mind, a true joy to be invited in for 330 pages.

Didn't do a great job finding time to read my Discworld book this month, but I just about beat the buzzer, next one is due to arrive tomorrow so I've cranked out most of Small Gods over the last couple days. 10/10, probably the book I'd recommend to people who want to check out Pratchett.

It doesn't increase urination frequency, the only time that's ever been observed is when tested on people who had abstained from caffeine for a long period before starting the test and/or when caffeine was the test substance, every test with coffee/tea shows no impact compared to a control.

Like, absolutely drink more water, too much caffeine is bad for you in entirely different (and more harmful) ways, but the diuretic thing is a common misconception.
