I will offer a piece of advice given how frequent layoffs have become in games media: keep a copy of your pr contacts/build a network outside of your company email. You will likely be laid off at some point, and usually you don't get even an hour before you're locked out of everything.

All this to say: force yourself to sit down and write, especially on days where you absolutely do not want to. It's incredibly how much can come out just from sitting there and doing the thing. Whole sections of a story can reveal themselves out of thin air, you really just have to be present.

Unemployment sucks, but I have at least managed to set myself a writing target of 800 words each day on a novel I'm working on. Had one of those mornings where the thought of writing seemed impossible, but just wrapped up what was statistically the most words done in a single session so far

Parameters for page rankings are so specific these days that you basically have to present your guides in a particular format anyway. If you don't, people simply won't find them. Rank too highly, AI steals it. Deliberately go against the grain, drop in rankings, and no-one sees your stuff. Lose-lose

It's a nice idea, but yes as Matt says it's misleading your audience. At best you'll just annoy people enough to start dodging your site, at worst you'll actually get penalised by Google for doing it, and drop out of contention altogether.
