Even if it were true that "affordable housing" was just a slogan for Chughtai, that is still better than Millard, who consistently only speaks to and for homeowners and refuses to acknowledge the reality of renters in this city. All the talk about lost businesses is uptown shows how the people talking about it don't live in my ward. They're sad they can't drop in like tourists and go to the same restaurant every visit. They don't care that I can no longer walk to get my diabetes medications because they don't live here.
