Affinity is very good and has been free since Canva relaunched it. It has the equivalent of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign all in one. Bit of a learning curve if you’re used to Adobe, but worth it.

Has anyone been to the Anish Kapoor exhibition at the Hayward? Is it worth a look? The sprog has an inset day tomorrow, so we're doing one of our London days. The exhibition is only there for another ten days, so this will be our only opportunity. It's £22 a ticket though, which feels a bit steep.

The sprog and I are slowly watching it week by week in a run up to a Star Wars rewatch (she was only six when she saw them and doesn't really remember details). This was last week's episode, incredible TV. That line hit so hard, we had to pause and talk about how crazy it was for both of them.

There's Photopea, which is browser-based and supposedly very good. I don't use it though, I was an Affinity convert years ago and it became free recently after Canva bought it. Worth checking out.

I really like it. It's getting a lot of flack on reddit, but I think by people who can't get over the 'woke' Barbie pink reveal. Had it been launched with a cyberpunk campaign and flamethrowers they'd have loved it. Fuck 'em, they weren't buying new Jags anyway. It's a bold move and I hope it works.

One xmas, I was horrified that my bedtime piss contained an unholy amount of blood. My wife said not to worry, whatever it was, we'd get it sorted. Googled it. Top result "Beetroot". I had eaten 2/3 of a jar of pickled beetroot. She called me an idiot and rolled over.
