I don’t even feel sorry for the players from the recent years. Anyone arriving a city since the EUFA ruling knew there was something wrong, they chose to ignore it for money and titles they knew had a risk to be tainted. They made their beds.

City fans defense being “yes but the red cartel” is laughable. The 2 biggest cheaters of the last 20 years wear blue shirts. The FFP rules were created because of one of them, and 14 clubs voted yes. Nobody forced them, and at the time neither Arsenal nor Liverpool were collecting trophies.

We’ve won all our games, but I’m a little worried about how referees appear keen to make an example out of us. Punishing our throw ins, negating our corners, giving nonsense yellows, ignoring pens, giving absurdly soft calls. If felt last season that things were a little smoother on that front.

The thing people miss about Arsenal is the brand they built: the commercial machine, the marketing, the content, the merchandising ... Arsenal is a cultural phenomenon, that is the biggest win over the last 10 – 15 years. The global reach is insane and the revenue follows.

To Arsenal fans who only think about resale value of players, I really want to say … we’re not Chelsea. The goal is to keep our players as long as possible to win, the resale value is of marginal importance. And also, I can’t understand how some have not realized yet that the club knows best. 🤷🏻‍♂️
