They're going to get away with it, aren't they? A paltry points deduction, a paltry fine, and a transfer ban that won't mean anything due to the £500 million they spent in the summer. On paper, it'll look like a hefty punishment, but it'll mean very little to them. I have a horrible feeling.

Really good episode of The Sports Agents on the City stuff. Guests include the journalist from Der Spiegel who was trawling through the Pinto hard drives, and a lawyer talking ramifications. And it's co-hosted by Nedum Onuoha, who was actually playing for City during the start of the dodgy times.

The points-deduction piece is so tricky because if they're able to keep their squad together, a 30-point deduction, for example, likely wouldn't actually relegate them. It needs to be really hefty. Like 60 minimum. And a removal of their titles. Otherwise they just essentially get away with it.
