We had a lovely trip to the Natural History Museum today, but all I could hear in my head was the theme to Nationwide.

Here he is. A young computer programmer called Jonathan Smith who had written a game called Pud Pud and brought it to Ocean Software in the seminal BBC documentary Commercial Breaks. vhistory.wordpress.com/2022/12/10/c...

Here's a screenshot. I was hoping it might be earlier, as my tapes go back to 1984, but no.

Surely an honourable mention for Tooth (2004) featuring The Easter Bunny (voiced by Jim Broadbent) in charge of all the Tooth fairies in Fairytopia. Oh, and they also pay for Christmas. (It's a bit of a mash-up, to be honest.) I only mention it because I just watched it yesterday.

A question for my helpful followers. Who's this? It's from Newsnight in December 2009, he's a journalist. I won't say who I thought it was so as not to lead you wrong. I genuinely don't know so any help would be appreciated.

His name doesn't appear to be spoken in dialogue, but come the end credits, it's listed as Ivan Korshunov. This isn't quite as bad as when Bonnie Bedelia's character name is misspelled in Die Hard as either "Gennero" or "Gennaro" in multiple places (and also in the script).

Amazon Prime seem to have attached the description and metadata of Alex Garland's "Men" to Nic Cage's Dream Scenario. Most odd.
The Amazon Prime title page for the Nicolas Cage film Dream Scenario, which has the description for Alex Garland's film "Men".

"In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Harper retreats alone to the beautiful English countryside, hoping to have found a place to heal. But someone or something from the surrounding woods appears to be stalking her. What begins as simmering dread becomes a fully-formed nightmare, inhabited by her darkest memories in visionary filmmaker Alex Garland's feverish, shape-shifting new horror film."

Something seems to have broken iMDb's reference view. All I get for any film is this. It's annoying because the other view is far too cluttered for me. Anyone else seeing this?

This has clearly always been a problem for minor TV people. (From Nov 2008 TV Burp). I only post this because I happened to be watching this episode earlier today. That, and I initially misread Lebensraum as as Leprechaun.
