UK politics Government is spending too much and decisions must be made. Personally I agree with the state providing a safety net but it should be just that and ongoing payments should be regularly reviewed and if possible means tested. Means testing is expensive so use existing mechanisms to check.

Not a fan of the phrase misinformation. If you say something once and are told it’s false but you say it again then you are lying. You consciously spread false information then that’s lying. Misinformation appears to be a word making lies seem less bad - I don’t like it

Uk politics Financially uk is in a delicate situation - it can’t afford more debt pressures and some how paying families to have more than two kids is now a key policy argument. Don’t rely on state to have kids! Sort out health and education funding for kids first.
