I think our daughter was around 17 the last time I rode one similar to this ride and literally had to tense and brace the entire way to keep from bouncing too much. That was the day I said no more and I've never regretted missing out on the 'fun'.

One of the only things I do not miss about the childhood years was being forced to accompany my children on rollercoasters. Getting stuck because they weren't maintained was bad but bouncing around because I probably shouldn't have been allowed to ride (height/weight) was the worst.

For what it is worth, I was diagnosed late as well. My MRIs are always a mess because of years of neglect but 'damage' is a relative and wholly different in nature from a TBI. Most lesions are found in the periventricular region-hence the motor deficits & nerve abnormalities.

I saw someone having a go at democrat running for senate in South Carolina for something similar and it was a true head scratcher. Winning the radical olympic games will not fly here and it would be stupid to posture, preen, and lose the best chance race of the past 25 years.

Thank you! I'm seeing so many people who are immediately pivoting to MS and that would not be the case without significant (and rare) frontal lobe lesions. The last thing people with MS need is to be viewed as ticking time bombs, filled with rage and ready to bite.

So true. When I think about undergoing a spinal fusion and open heart surgery within four months of each other, my decision to turn our empty nest into a kennel seems even more insane. Four is a barely workable number. I'm glad we found this dog's owner.

I've reached my capacity limit. I'll still feed, water, and contact rescues when I find them abandoned at the dog park but when anyone critiques me I tell them that there's only so many pups you can fit into a Kia Soul or a queen sized bed. The heartworm bill alone is a budget buster.

I get that I am a bit too soft when it comes to the county’s lost and abandoned dogs, but having them follow me home in the car and jump into my house is a bit much.

She's been replaced by the strange hillbillies in a very expensive battered truck with an a/c unit taped into the rear window. I never can quite understand what they're saying (they rival argle bargle guy) but the yelling & screeching of the hounds really gets the blood pumping at 4am.

Parts of the '94 version haven't aged well but that's because society has moved on from many of the dated stereotypes in the book/movie. Warts and all, it's my favorite and I watch it at least once a year. The 2020 really, really, really disappointed me.
