The ruling was on procedure, at least according to the 6 conservative justices, not on the merits and other court injunctions remain in place. So I agree this is a small win for Trump (for now)

And as soon as tomorrow, Judge Talwani may also issue a TRO against the new rule the USPS issued Friday night to implement the EO. In other words, this is a small win for the Trump administration, but *not* a ruling that fully clears the way for Trump to mess with mail-in ballots come November.

A few things that stand out: Sullivan tried to register as Dan S. Sullivan, which isn’t his name — it’s the name of the incumbent — and he’s always registered as a voter under the name Daniel, not Dan. He’s also never registered as a Republican before, and his campaign uses similar iconography.
