i think the biggest thing i have to say on this dumbass art trend is that you cultivate your audience based on what you draw and how you act so do not be surprised if you follow a trend drawing fanart of an exclusionary franchise and now your audience is a bunch of shitheads while others leave

I get the need to turn Rowling's work against her, but reclaiming Harry Potter is like reclaiming the swastika as an ancient symbol of Buddhism. It's a shame that a piece of ancient iconography has been tarnished, but there's nothing to be done. It's poisoned. It can only harm now.
