I think for it to be complete, The House can initiate impeachment with a simple majority, then it goes to the Senate, which then requires 2/3rds to vote yes. The Senate will not give it the 2/3rds because of GOP cult entrenchment.

If Democrats retake Congress, even if by a large margin, and as much as accountability is wanted, impeachment of Orange Palpatine would be a waste of time because they’d never get 2/3rds vote to convict. Better to just get shit done, make him irrelevant to that process. Then criminally charge after.

A caveat: Apparently States do not have to use the “list” as dictated by the White House/feds, they can ignore it. And this fed list cannot be altered for 90 days. That’s assuming Orange Palpatine will comply, and honestly, that is not trustworthy.

It looks like the Supreme Court just ruled to allow the White House a federal override of the Constitution involving States election control Rights. Saying the feds can now have say over verifying voter roles by using your SSN. You’ll need to check your registration up to the day of election. Vote!
