LOLs per Employee: a vital metric. Shenanigans are a sign the team has sufficient energy in reserve, signaling readiness for handling emergencies and unplanned work. Play usually reflects underlying trust, cohesion, and resilience. Encourage it.

Not asking for headpats, but sharing my idea: it’s fkn freezing out and I know I have deliveries coming today. I wanted to take care of my drivers. I have an insulated thermos but no styrofoam cups. What I *do* have is WAY too many insulated mugs. (And yes I preheated the thermos w/boiling water!)

My fave Y2K story: I was at a party w/ a bunch of other IT nerds. By 1145, everyone was ≥3 sheets to the wind. Some were out on the porch for a smoke. I moved next to the porch light switch. As we counted down, I turned porch lights off at exactly midnight. Audible gasps ensued. Laughed my ass off.

Hi, I’m Julie, and I am a saxophone player with a degree in music ed. That semesters jury performance merited a page of praise for my musicality from the bassoon professor. Phrasing, dynamics, technique were excellent. He signed off with “I hate your tone.” Anyway I work in cybersecurity now.
