One of the many reasons Don't Call It Mystery rocks is how everyone reacts to the rambling genius tangents with a desperate plea for silence and freedom from talking to the protagonist.

Usually if you say you experienced something through a Let's Play people will judge you for not actually playing it or whatever but if you say "I experienced Danganronpa through the Something Awful Let's Play" it actually kinda means you're an OG

Getting little tips here and there about mission structure, or how certain planes handle, or having friends pop off at close calls/groan at things going south really made it feel like having a team back at HQ surveying the mission. I'm absolutely hopping on Electrosphere after some NG+ runs.

ace combat zero... damn that was good as hell Definitely a franchise I'm going to be immersing myself in much more now that I've played one Played most of it w/ people spectating who were unfamiliar, but occasional coaching from friends of mine who were series vets was also a very fun experience.

You should really read the manga if you haven't already. All the Dragons of Earth hadn't been shown off yet in the manga so some were based on early notes provided by CLAMP iirc. Yasuaki Shimizu's ost and Rintaro's direction are a stellar combo, though, has a fantastic tone youtu.be/Ss2Sdqg8-D0

hearing that one of the early con showings for the remake had a modern phone port you could mess with while you were in line hurts so damn bad. I'd love for that version to be released as well, being able to access two versions of one of my favorite works of art would rule

It's really cool how we basically have memetic parables in the modern age. Anyone can understand the difference between average and mean by simply learning and remembering the story of Spiders Georg, and keep the knowledge alive by passing it to others so they too can chuckle and learn from it

Like Shinnosuke from SOUL'd OUT straight up helped with screentones in an SBR chapter which is cool as hell and it's a little factoid i adore. but obviously the main issue isn't "why didn't they pick the musicians i like" it's "how did they let this guy produce this song"

050

Jess @jesteph.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I'm still in shock about the SBR ED news dawg Like sure I get it's a new continuity, and doing non-western licensed songs is a choice that can be made with that context, and it would've been cool to get a SOUL'd OUT or Diggy-MO' track for the ED, but no. Instead you get a song produced by Dr. Luke.
