There was the time the entire school had to walk, single file, through tables and past a bunch of adults, in the auditorium. Lining up for something... Each student was given the measles vaccine. There were no measles cases at the time, and there was never a measles outbreak, afterwards.

My wife and I did a #POTA out in Eastern Washington yesterday. Beautiful little lake, on one of those perfect 75°, fall afternoons in the PNW. Pulled 77 contacts, in a little over an hour, dog went for a swim, and we got a beautiful sunset. A really great day! #AmateurRadio #hamRadio

Wife & I took a friend to his first POTA activation. Small bump, couldn't get his hotspot to his laptop. Still, I logged us, got 66, rolled over the UTC day, since it's a 3fer, so, got him 6 parks! And bombing it into the east coast and deep south, from WA. Fun radio day. #AmateurRadio #hamRadio

Pretty fun #POTA day, yesterday. My wife and I got 26 in about 45 minutes. Got our first +20, (6 miles away 😂, our closest POTA so far) 2 calls later a 58 from France (our farthest POTA so far) And it was a gorgeous day!!! Good fun! #AmateurRadio #hamRadio

My wife and I did our first #POTA together today. Her 1st, my 2nd. Had a blast, picked up 25 QSOs and spent the afternoon in the woods together. 1st time going portable, only worked 20m and the antenna was under 1.3:1 swr across the band. It was a good afternoon! #AmateurRadio #hamRadio

So my 30 Amp power unit died last night. It was not an expensive unit, a SkyToppower, still the ft710 only draws 22A max. So what gives??? Turns out this 30A unit is actually only rated for 20A. Only says so in the fine print on the papers. Sold exclusively as 30A #AmateurRadio #HamRadio

Sure it's a proven design, sure some "ballpark" results should be expected, still... There is something really satisfying being resonant, (1.1-1.3 swr 46-52 ohms) across 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, and 6m, on an antenna build. Deployment took about 6 min, but we weren't trying. #AmateurRadio #hamRadio #POTA
